Would you like to commemorate a loved one who has passed by having their name engraved on our Commemorative Wall. Blessing of the wall is on November 5, 2023 with buffet to follow in Cafe 13.

Commemorative Wall


The most striking element at the Centre’s Sons of Italy Piazza Garibaldi is the Commemorative Wall. Finished in elegant, long-lasting granite, the wall is a monument dedicated to loved ones who are no longer with us. 


With a contribution of $200 plus GST to the Centro Caboto Centre, the name of a loved one will be permanently etched on the granite panels, making it an indelible part of our community’s history. 


Once a year, in November, a special blessing and remembrance service is held.  This year, the mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church on November 5th followed by a blessing of the wall at the Centro.  Following that, a buffet in Cafe 13.  To reserve for the buffet, call (204) 487-4597 ext. 1

La parete Commemorativa del Centro Caboto Centre Sons of Italy Piazza Garibaldi è stata creata per onorare la memoria dei nostri cari. Situata nella piazza del Centro, la parete è un monumento che diventerà parte della nostra storia. 


Con una donazione di $200 al Centro Caboto Centre, potete fare incidere il nome di una persona a voi cara sulle lapidi di granito che adornano la parete. 


Ogni anno, nel mese di novembre, sarà tenuta una funzione religiosa per ricordare i nostri cari.

The Commemorative Wall was built under the auspices of the Italian Canadian Foundation of Manitoba. Funds were provided by the Foundation and Canital Granite Ltd., Chapel of Eternal Memories and Holy Angel Mausoleums, Franco Nicola & Family and San Mango d’Aquino Society of Winnipeg.
