ITALIAN CANADIAN FOUNDATION OF MANITOBA
Remembrance that supports culture, students and community.
ICFM is a registered charity and member organization of the Italian Canadian League of Manitoba, based at Centro Caboto Centre. Its work connects memorial giving with scholarships, the Commemorative Wall, the Viva l'Italia Choir and cultural events across Manitoba.
FOUNDATION WORK
A foundation built from remembrance
The Foundation began in 1991 as the Italian Canadian Memorial Foundation, founded by Adriana Lombardini, Dr. Sam Loschiavo and Tony De Luca after each had lost a beloved family member.
Early donations dedicated books in memory of loved ones. As membership and purpose grew, the organization became the Italian Canadian Foundation of Manitoba on November 23, 2000 and was registered as a charity.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Where gifts and volunteer work go
The Foundation's work reaches across remembrance, scholarships, music and cultural events, with a volunteer board carrying the work forward.

Memorial Wall
ICFM spearheaded the Memorial Wall near Piazza Garibaldi, giving families a visible place to keep names and stories present.
02
Endowment Book of Life
The Foundation also points families to the virtual Book of Life, where photos and family stories can become part of the community record.
03
Viva l'Italia Choir
ICFM became the sponsoring body of the Viva l'Italia Choir in September 2011, the year Italy marked 150 years of unification.
